I might be a mmews, or ammewsed, or (occasionally) ammewsing, but somewhere along my way I became a scientist and a diplomat—questioning and exploring the world around me, then working across cultures, languages and knowledge-bases to unite people toward a common understanding—one they can embrace, one that affects change.
It's how I make my living, and how I live my life. I love etiquette and even became an international protocol officer.
Throw in a dash of gypsy. I am most myself when I'm outside. I adore the wind and the sea and seek their counsel regularly. And I like nothing better than to be exploring — stories, dichotomies and philosophical ideals, and doing what muses do best — singing, dancing, photography, drawing, but mostly writing.
Because I am a writer.
I am Monica M. E. Wirick-Schultz.
